Our Humble Beginnings
In 2001, a small group of devoted families in Lake Ronkonkoma recognized the need for a spiritual sanctuary. What began as a heartfelt intention soon transformed into the Suffolk Islamic Center.
From our first congregational prayer to the expansion of our current facility, our history is a testament to the power of Tawakkul (reliance on Allah). Today, we stand as a beacon of guidance for over hundreds of families across Suffolk County.

Organizational Integrity
The Suffolk Islamic Center operates as a non-profit religious organization guided by the principles of Shura (Consultation). Our Board of Trustees is responsible for the long-term sustainability and strategic vision of the Masjid, ensuring every operation adheres to both Islamic jurisprudence and local legal requirements.
We maintain a strict code of ethics regarding financial management and community conduct. Our constitution serves as the bedrock of our governance, protecting the rights of our members and the sanctity of the institution.
